The Junior Room
We, the Junior Infants, have been practising our fine motor skills by linking chains, threading beads, and using pegs and peg boards. These activities help strengthen our hands and fingers, which will make it easier for us to hold a pencil and learn how to write our letters. We’re working hard and having lots of fun along the way!

We are very lucky to have Ann from Monaghan GAA visit us every Thursday to teach us all about GAA. Lately, we’ve been having great fun learning Gaelic football, practising our kick passing and solos. Here’s a look at some of our action shots!

Here in the junior room, we love pizza. Today, we decided to create our very own pizzeria—watch out, Domino’s and Apache, Clara NS is bringing the flavour! Our chefs designed menus, created delicious pretend pizzas, and served them with big smiles. It was great fun and a tasty way to use our imaginations!

We went to GR8 entertainment in Castleblayney and then we went to Lough Muckno Play Park (stopping on the way for some Ice-Cream. And, of course, we couldn't leave the home of country without getting a photo with Big Tom!
